Toasted Milk Powder

Method

Make something worth remembering.

Toast

  1. Heat a dry skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Add the milk powder and stir constantly for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Stop when the powder is light golden brown and smells nutty, marshmallow-like, and slightly caramelized.

Use

  1. Cool and use in butter pecan, banana, or vanilla ice cream bases.
Family note

What makes this ours

Stop at light golden brown. The powder should smell a little nutty and marshmallow-like, never burnt.
