Swiss Steak

Method

Make something worth remembering.

Method

  1. Cut round steak into serving size pieces. Beat them and dip them in flour.
  2. Brown for approximately 5 minutes. Add 1 small can of mushroom sauce (l double this). Add 1/2 cup of water. Place in an oven preheated to 350°Fs for 2 hours or until tender. Check every 1/2 hour to see if it needs more water. Add cut up potatoes last 1/2 hour.

I made this dinner a couple of nights ago. Compiling these recipes made me hungry for some of Mom's great dishes.
