Strawberry Ice Cream
Creamy vanilla ice cream folded with a bright, jammy strawberry reduction.

Make the reduction
- Combine the strawberries and sugar in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5–8 minutes.
- Mash the berries to a loose jam consistency. Stir in the salt and lemon juice, if using, then cool completely.
Churn
- Prepare and chill the Standard Creamy Ice Cream Base, then churn as directed.
- Add the cold strawberry reduction during the final minute of churning.
Finish
- Add small diced fresh strawberries during the final 30 seconds if desired, then freeze for 1–2 hours.
