Name: Shrimp Surprise
Ingredients: 1 pound Linguini; 1 pound Shrimp (cooked, shelled and deveined); 2 cloves garlic (minced); 1/2 cup olive oil; 6 to 10 plum tomatoes (chopped - depending on how much your family likes tomatoes); 10 leaves of fresh basil (shredded); Parmesan or Romano cheese (grated)

Make something worth remembering.

Method

Boil pasta in a large pot of water. While pasta cooks, heat shrimp, garlic, and basil in olive oil for several minutes, stirring constantly to that the garlic doesn't burn. Drain pasta, In a large bowl, toss pasta, shrimp, oil with basil and garlic, and tomatoes.
Serve immediately the grated cheese to taste.

What makes this ours

This is a very favorite meal at our house. We have it whenever shrimp is on sale, and I get the store to steam it with their spices.
