Pepper Poppers

Method

Make something worth remembering.

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cheeses, bacon and seasoning; mix well. Spoon about 2 tablespoons into each pepper half. Roll in bread crumbs. Place in a greased 15 X IO X 1" baking pan. Bake uncovered at 300° for 20 minutes for spicy flavor, 30 minutes for medium and 40 minutes for mild when using the Jalapeño peppers.
  2. When using banana peppers 20 to 30 minutes is fine as they are not spicy. Serve with sour cream, dip or dressing.
  3. *When cutting or seeding hot peppers, use rubber or plastic gloves to protect your hands. Avoid touching your face.
