Method

Cream together sugar and butter. Add vanilla and eggs. Mix well. Add buttermilk, Gradually add flour, soda, and salt. Divide into 2 balls. Refrigerate for one hour. Roll out on floured surface and cut into shapes. Bake at 375°Fs for 8 minutes
