Pansit (Filipino Rice Noodles)

Method

Method

  1. Heat Wok or large frying pan, add oil, saute garlic until slightly brown, add onion, stir fry until transparent in color.
  2. Add the shredded chicken, Chinese sausage and shrimps, stir fry for 2 minutes or until shrimps are cooked.
  3. Add carrots and cabbage, stir fry until vegetables are crisp and tender.
  4. Add rice noodles, one cup chicken broth, 1/3 cup soy sauce and half a teaspoon pepper, stir fry for 3 to 5 minutes or until noodles absorb the sauce.
  5. Add some more soy sauce and pepper to taste.

What makes this ours

I work with many therapists from the Philippines. Whenever we have potlucks, someone will bring this. I had to beg real hard to get this recipe, but they finally gave in. If you like noodles, you'll like this dish. Makes a lot. I get the rice noodles and Chinese sausage at a local Asian market.
