Mike's Famous Chili

Method

Make something worth remembering.

Method

  1. Brown the ground beef (veggie meat crumbles), onion and green pepper. Add 1 can of tomato sauce and water. Add red chili powder to taste, as well as any other good chili- type spices you can find including a little cayenne pepper. Or you can cheat by purchasing a number of prepackaged chili spices. Simmer for about 30 minutes. I like to add one extra can of tomato sauce and 1 can of kidney beans, adding water until it looks like good thick chili.
  2. Okay now this is IMPORTANT: when serving the chili top with shredded cheese, fresh diced tomatoes and chopped onions, along with sour cream. Enjoy.
  3. No real good story goes along with this recipe except that I lived off this many years as a bachelor and survived.
