Microwave Stewed Potatoes
A vegetables & sides favorite from the Martell family cookbook, shared by Elizabeth Ford Isbell.
Make something worth remembering.
Method
- Place potatoes in a square glass casserole dish, cover with water and add butter and salt. Cover dish with Saran Wrap and a lid. Cook on high for about 30 minutes or until potatoes break with a fork. Carefully remove the Saran Wrap so that you don't get a steam burn. Mix the flour with 1/3 cup water. Stir into potatoes and microwave for 1 or 2 minutes to thicken.
