Cracker Brittle

Method

Make something worth remembering.

Method

  1. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Lay the saltines on the foil with sides touching. Melt butter and stir in brown sugar. Boil for 3 minutes. Pour over the crackers. Bake at 400°Fs for 5 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let stand for 5 minutes, then spread with a knife. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top, if desired. Refrigerate until firm, then break apart and eat or peel off foil and cut into squares.
