Ingredients: 1 1/4 cups butter; 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar; 1 egg; 3 cups cake flour (sifted); 1/2 teaspoon salt; 1/2 cup cocoa; 1 1/2 cups pecans (chopped); 4 ounces sweet chocolate

Method

Make something worth remembering.

Method

Cream the butter and powdered sugar together. Add the egg. Sift the flour, slat and cocoa together and add the butter mixture. Press and mold into 3 long rolls about 1 1/2" in diameter. Roll in nuts, pressing them in on all sides. Wrap in wax paper. Set overnight. Slice and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in a 400°F oven for 10 minutes. Cool. Frost with the chocolate melted in a double boiler.
