Chocolate Ice Cream

Method

Make something worth remembering.

Make the base

  1. Whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, and dry milk powder.
  2. Slowly whisk in the milk until smooth, then add the cream, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt.
  3. For an extra-rich version, whisk in the melted chocolate until fully combined.

Churn & set

  1. Chill thoroughly, then churn until thick and creamy. Add chocolate chips during the final minute if desired.
  2. Freeze for 1–2 hours before scooping.
