Bull's Eyes
Bull's Eyes is a practical recipe-box standby featuring bread, softened butter, preserved from the family cookbook.

Make something worth remembering.
Method
- Press a cup into slice of bread to cut the center of the bread out. Butter both sides of bread and both sides of the bread circles. Place in a frying pan. Put a pat of butter in center of the slice of bread, and crack an egg into the hole. Fry the egg, flip it over and finish cooking until brown on both sides
Family note
What makes this ours
I made this to get my twins to eat a good breakfast. I make this too, but we call it Toad in a Hole. After cooking the toast and the circle of toast on both sides, the circle of toast is placed over the egg to "hide" the toad.
