Ingredients: 8 slices bread (crusts trimmed); 1 dozen eggs; Splash of milk; 1 pound Sausage or bacon (cooked and crumbled); 8 ounces shredded cheese (mild or sharp); Spray 9 X 13-inch pan with vegetable oil. Trim bread and lay in bottom of dish. Mix; eggs until foamy. Pour over bread. Sprinkle the bacon or sausage. Top with cheese

Refrigerate over night. Bake at 400°F about 20 minutes or until done.

What makes this ours

I put the sausage or bacon between paper towels and try to squeeze out all the fat I can. I also make this in two 8 X 8-inch pans. After they're cooked, I freeze one for later.
