Boiled Fish

Method

Make something worth remembering.

Method

  1. Bring the water, sugar, and salt to a boil and drop in the fish while still frozen. Return to a boil and boil for 15 minutes. Remove from water and drain. Dip in drawn butter and lemon juice.

  3. Melt butter completely over low heat. Remove from heat and let stand for a few minutes, allowing the milk solids to settle to the bottom. Skim the butter fat from the top and strain the clear yellow liquid into a container.
