Apple Crisp

A desserts favorite from the Martell family cookbook, shared by Annie Phillips Isbell.

Method

Make something worth remembering.

Method

  1. Place the apples in a baking dish. Sprinkle with the sugar and nutmeg. Dot with butter and add the water.

Crust

  1. Mix together until the mixture is fine crumbs. Sprinkle over the top of the apples. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°F, then 10 minutes at 350°F or until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
