Apple Crisp
A desserts favorite from the Martell family cookbook, shared by Annie Phillips Isbell.
Make something worth remembering.
Method
- Place the apples in a baking dish. Sprinkle with the sugar and nutmeg. Dot with butter and add the water.
Crust
- Mix together until the mixture is fine crumbs. Sprinkle over the top of the apples. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°F, then 10 minutes at 350°F or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
