Shrimp Bisque

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups celery, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 3/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1lb shrimp, precooked
  • 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Place celery, potato, onion, water, salt, and pepper in a pot
  2. Set heat low and bring to a boil
  3. Simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender
  4. Blend milk and flour and stir into potato mixture
  5. Add shrimp and butter
  6. Simmer, stirring until thick and bubbly.
Makes 4 smaller servings
