Microwave Stewed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 stick butter, cut into chunks
  • Salt
  • 3 tbsp flour

Instructions

  1. Place potatoes in a square glass casserole dish
  2. Cover with water and add butter and salt
  3. Cover dish with saran wrap and a lid
  4. Cook on high for about 30 minutes or until potatoes break with a fork
  5. Carefully remove the saran wrap so that you don’t get a steam burn
  6. Mix the flour with 1/3 cup water
  7. Stir into potatoes and microwave for 1 or 2 minutes to thicken
