Marleigh’s Magnificent Taco Dip

This is from Michaela’s best friend, Mar. She always brings it camping and we love it.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8) ounce package cream cheese softened, or use whipped
  • 1 (16) ounce container non-fat sour cream
  • 1 (1.25) ounce package of taco seasoning mix
  • 1/4 head of iceberg lettuce, rinsed, dried and shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (2.25) ounce can sliced olives, drained (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread this mixture in a 9″ or slightly larger round serving dish, like a pie plate.
  2. Top the mixture with the lettuce, Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, pepper and black olives.
  3. Chill for an hour and serve with Tostitos scoops.
