Chess Pie

Ingredients

  • Pie crust, unbaked
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons corn meal
  • 3/4 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of sweet milk
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Prepare a pie crust. Place in a round pie plate and pinch the edges. Do not bake.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together and pour onto the crust.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  4. This can be doubled to make two pies without any problems.
