My own recipe. I started making them about 10 years ago. Many family memories! Now, I make about 8 to 10 batches at Christmas time!

Ingredients
1 cup butter
16 ounces browns sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
14 ounces sweeten condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Place the butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in a pan. Stir using medium heat. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until it reaches a firm ball (245 degrees). Stir in the vanilla.
Pour onto a generously buttered 9×9″ pan. Cool. cut into squares and wrap each caramel in a piece of wax paper.
