Caramel Apple Dip

I suppose you could make this using full fat cream cheese, but if you start making it with fat-free, no one will ever know the difference! This tastes just like caramel…

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce package of fat-free cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Red and green apples, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, grind peanuts. Add brown sugar and cream cheese and pulse until well mixed. Scrape the sides if you need to, to get all of the cream cheese mixed in.
  2. Serve with green and red apple wedges. Tart apples are a nice counterpoint to the sweet dip.
