Aunt Rose’s Fudge

Ingredients
5 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 cup margarine
6 ounces chocolate chips
1 small jar Marshmallow Creme
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts, optional
Instructions
Place the sugar, milk, and margarine in a saucepan, gradually bring to a boil, and boil for 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add the chocolate chips, the Marshmallow Creme, the vanilla and the nuts.
Place the bottom of the hot pan in cold water while stirring the fudge until it is coolish.
Pour into a 9×13″ buttered pan. Let it cool completely before cutting.
Store in the refrigerator to keep it firm.
